For gutter companies, Yelp is truly beneficial if you take on both big and small projects. It's platform doesn't focus specific on gutter installation or gutter services, but rather a key category is gutter cleaning. So right away, you need to know, that Yelp Ads are best for small and medium sized gutter companies.
You must be able to qualify a gutter repair compared to a gutter replacement. Repairs are handyman work and you should never accept that call unless your lights are about to go out in your business front. You want the $1,000 to $10,000 gutter jobs. Envision a homeowner on a ladder, perplexed, witnessing water damage due to a failing roof. They try to do it themselves but soon learn why you get paid the big bucks. They search "roofer" into Yelp and your ad shows up at the top. Your Profile has no competitor ads on it. So they message you for an estimate or call you directly. This is the "do it for me" buyer.
A couple notice a section of shingle roofing flapping in the wind. You and I both know there's already damage if any rain or elements have gotten under the shingles. They go to yelp and bypass the ads but find your listing at the top 10 options. They send out estimates to all ten companies. She jump on Google and searches for "roofer near me" and yelp is at the top, so she clicks on it, and what do you know ... your paid ad is at the top and she clicks to call you right away.

Yes this is the best lead cause you get to sell. Activate your call tracker to find the last four digits of the phone number. You should go through those numbers every month to see if there's any "spam." You get charge for every one of them.

Create a landing page on your website, hide the top navigation so they can get out of the page, then in the form entitle it "yelp paid ad page." When the form is submitted, you'll know that's a yelp paid ad lead. Easy!
We always suggest to start with a budget of $250 - $500 for a single month and count how many total leads you really gained. If they asked for a quote , called you, that's a lead. While the Ad is really important, reviews provide credibility and increase people wanting to know more and to consider your gutter solutions. Clicking to your website is not a lead.
